There's a lot here so I hope you have a nice large broadband connection. Ever since I got my digicam, life and photo taking has been a complete joy, much to the chagrin of my subjects. I love it because it costs me no money, other than the CD's it costs to burn them on for archival purposes to maintain all the moemories of special events, as well as the not so special events alike. I've taken the liberty of
filtering out the crappy pics so you can focus on the good one. Pay no attention to the fact that the good pics are only about 3% of the total amount of pics I actually took...

The majority of the images here were taken with my trusty SONY DSC50 2.1 Megapixel camera. 'I've had the thing for over a year and a half now and it has never failed to catch a moment. Most of the pix were captured at 1600 X 1024 but reduced to save on storage and download times.
I carry 3 X 64MB Memory Sticks, and believe me, it's pretty hard to fill them all since at highest resolution, you can capture about 74 images each. I also carry an extra spare battery but rarely have to switch to the spare in a day since each battery lasts about 2.5 hours. If you're like me and don't like breaking out the photo albums or the space they take up, not to mention the costs of developing film and storing negatives, digital imagery is the way to go.

Thailand page is made but the sideshow still needs to be had. Snagged a few pictures of the digicam from the web since you can't take a picture of a digital camera with the same digital camera....
March 30, 2002
Added the Thailand gallery but still need to create the slideshow for it as well as decide how I am going to layout photo spreads for future galleries. Decided on the 400 X 300 resolution since it is optimal for viewing in all resolution screen sizes as well as consumes less space overall.
