ARTIST'S NOTES
My wife is a big fan of Animerica. Matter of fact, she subscribed to the mag because of this story: Fushigi Yugi. When I asked her who her favorite character in the series was, she said it was this guy.

Now, I am not a big fan of the series, and quite frankly, felt that I could do a better version of the character than the original artist did (though i do have to mention that there is no substitute for the original artists' version), plus it would be fun. A gift for the wife. Once again, inspired in Lake Tahoe, I was able to whip out this pic before she woke the next morning. I'm very proud of this one because my wife really loved it.

I'm hoping at some point I can get someone real good with Digital colors to lend me a hand with this. I'm strictly a B/W artist so I wanna leave that work to someone talented in that arena.
