ARTIST'S NOTES
With this picture of Batman, I tried to capture the duality of the man vs the monster. It started out as a standard portrait style picture and evolved as soon as i decided to put the shadows in. I kind of wanted to capture what it was about Batman that was supposed to be able to scare people at night... So how does a man dressed in dark tights scare villains?
